PICCADILLY FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 1/2 to 2 pts. fresh strawberries
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. Karo syrup (light)
2 tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)
3 tbsp. strawberry Jello (heaping)
1 baked pie shell
Cool Whip

Mix water, sugar, Karo, and cornstarch. Cook until thick. Add Jello and dissolve; cool. Pour 1/2 of the mixture in the baked pie crust. Add fresh berries that have been cleaned and quartered. Use enough berries to make a full pie. Cover with rest of sauce. Cover with whipped cream.
