RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Chill dough, roll dough in 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cookies should be light tan in color. While still warm roll in powdered sugar. Cool, then roll in sugar again. Yield: 4 dozen.
