RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Stir flour and salt together, blend with butter mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until set but DO NOT BROWN. While still warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
