TURKEY MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. fresh ground turkey 1 sm. onion, chopped fine 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1 1/2 tbsp. cold water or milk 1 egg, slightly beaten Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp. cooking oil 1 pkg. brown gravy mix or 1 can beef gravy Combine all ingredients in large bowl, except cooking oil and gravy mix. Mix thoroughly. Shape mixture into 1 1/2 or 2 inch meatballs. In a hot skillet with 2 tablespoons cooking oil, brown meatballs. In large saucepan, mix one package brown gravy; mix according to package directions. Add meatballs and simmer for 1/2 to 1 hour. Serve with rice or cooked noodles. |
