1 1/3 cups sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
12 tbsp. corn starch
8 cups milk
4 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix first three ingredients until well blended. Add milk and beaten egg yolks. Cook until thick. Remove from heat. Add vanilla.
