CUCUMBER PICKLES 
4 c. sugar
4 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
1 sliced onion
1 sliced green pepper
12 sm. sliced cucumbers with skins left on

1. Bring sugar, vinegar, celery seed and salt to boil.

2. As sliced cucumbers are put into jars, add onion and green peppers (small pieces of green peppers).

3. Pour brine into jars, covering ingredients and refrigerate. This makes about 3 quarts of pickles.
