APRICOT BARS 
1 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. oats (quick cooking)
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (12 oz.) jar of apricot preserves

Mix all ingredients together except the jam. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle 2/3 of mix into pan and press down. Heat 1 1/2 - 2 cups apricot preserves and spread over mix. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
