HAM & POTATOES AU GRATIN 
1 1/2 c. diced cooked ham
3 c. diced cooked potatoes
4 tbsp. butter
1 sm. onion, minced
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
Seasoned salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. fine bread crumbs

Combine ham and potatoes; place in shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Melt 3 tablespoons butter. Add onion; cook until golden. Blend in flour. Add milk gradually; cook, stirring until sauce is thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over ham and potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese and crumbs; dot with remaining butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Yield 4 servings.
