GREEN PEPPER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 lg. green bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. cooked rice
1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Place beef, onion, bell pepper and garlic salt in skillet. Stir and cook until beef is brown (salt and pepper to taste). Stir in tomato sauce, sugar and cooked rice. Place in casserole dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees.
