CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MIX | |
9 c. flour 4 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 3 c. granulated sugar 4 c. vegetable shortening 4 c. chopped pecans 4 (12 oz.) pkg. semisweet real chocolate chips 1. Combine flour, soda, salt and sugar in a very large bowl. 2. Mix in shortening. 3. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place for up to 6 months or freeze. To make cookies: 2 cups cookie mix; 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 eggs. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: 2 dozen. Super! |
