1 c. butter
1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
3 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
5 c. unsifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
3-4 c. chocolate chips

Combine butter, Crisco, sugars, vanilla and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat on high speed until fluffy. Sift flour, soda and salt and add. Mix well. Add chocolate chips.

Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes - watch time and don't over bake.
