14 KARAT CAKE | |
2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 c. sugar 1 c. oil 4 eggs 2 c. grated carrots 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1/2 c. chopped nuts Sift flour with baking powder, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add sugar, oil, and eggs. Mix well. Add carrots, pineapple, and nuts; blend together. Turn into 3 greased and floured 9 inch layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool for a few minutes in pans. Turn out and cool, then frost. |
