1 sm. pkg. Oreo cookies, crumbled
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
Jar of caramel topping
1 sm. or med. Cool Whip
1/2 - 3/4 stick butter
Nuts (peanuts or pecans)

Melt butter and mix with cookie crumbs. (Save enough for sprinkles.) Press into 9"x13" pan. Soften ice cream and spread over crumbs. Sprinkle nuts and dribble topping over ice cream. Spread Cool Whip and sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Freeze.
