CHOCOLATE MINT BARS 
1/2 c. cocoa
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
Few drops green food coloring
2 tbsp. cream or milk
2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate or 1/2 c. semi-sweet chips
2 tbsp. butter

Mix first 8 ingredients in order given. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Cool. Frost with mixture of rest of ingredients except last 2. Refrigerate.

Combine last 2 ingredients in a small saucepan and melt over medium heat, stirring constantly. Pour hot mixture over frosted bars. Try not to devour entire pan at one sitting!
