BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 c. flour (self-rising)
2/3 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter; mix in sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture, a small amount at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir chocolate chips and nuts into the batter. Spread in an ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes. Cool in pan; then cut into bars. Makes 4 dozen brownies.
