BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and add brown sugar. Mix thoroughly. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients and nuts and mix well. Spread batter into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan and top with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
