RENDERED CLARIFIED BUTTER 
2 lb. butter
1/3 c. bulghur
1/2 potato, peeled
1/2 apple, peeled
Jar with cover

Place butter in saucepan with other ingredients and simmer. As froth appears on the top remove carefully with spoon. Continue to skim until butter is clear. Remove from heat and cool. Pour into jar carefully straining out all sediment.
