CHICKEN DIVAN 
2 pkgs. frozen broccoli spears
3 1/2 to 4 lbs. chicken
8 slices American or Velveeta cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 can water chestnuts
1 can onion rings

May use cooked or canned chicken; debone and skin.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 x 12 pan. Drain and thaw broccoli; place on bottom of pan. Cut chicken into large pieces and place on top. Put cheese slices on to cover.

Mix soup and mayonnaise; spread over cheese. Drain and slice water chestnuts and sprinkle on top of soup. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove from oven; add onion rings on top. Bake 15-20 minutes more. Serves 8-10.
