UPSIDE DOWN PUMPKIN PIE 
1 (20 oz.) can pumpkin
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. nuts (or more)
1 c. butter, melted

Mix together the first 7 ingredients. Pour into 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cake mix and nuts, and drizzle with butter over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Pie is done when knife comes out clean.
