BLONDE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 2/3 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix. Add vanilla, chocolate chips, and nuts. Spread in 9x13 inch well-greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut in squares shortly after removing from oven.

Serves 24.
