OIL PIE CRUST | |
2 c. unbleached flour 1 tsp. salt (opt.) 1/2 c. corn oil or canola oil 5 to 5 1/2 tbsp. ice water Beat oil and water together until thick and creamy. Pour over entire surface of flour immediately. Mix with fork to form ball - handle as little as possible. Roll out on floured surface or pastry cloth. Makes 1 double crust pie or 2 single crusts. |
