JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
5-6 apples
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar & 5 tbsp.
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. cooking oil
4 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon

Peel, core and cut up apples. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 5 tablespoons of sugar on apples mix and set aside.

In large bowl sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add cooking oil, eggs, orange juice and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Pour half of batter into a tube pan. Add half of the apples. Add rest of batter. Then rest of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
