BLONDE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan. Stir in remaining ingredients, except for chips. Spread in greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
