BASIC POPOVERS | |
1 c. flour 1 c. milk 1 tbsp. melted butter Dash of salt 2 lg. eggs Mix together flour and salt, then stir in milk, eggs and butter. Beat until smooth and the consistency of heavy cream. Spoon into 12 to 14 greased popover or muffin cups. Do not fill over 1/2 the depth of the cup. Bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve hot. Do not open oven door until done! |
