BLACK - EYED PEA DIP 
1 to 2 lb. block of Kraft Old English Cheddar cheese
3 (16 oz.) cans black eyed peas, drained
1 lg. onion, minced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 (8 oz.) can of green chilies
1/2 c. butter
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped

Combine all ingredients except peas and bring to a melting simmer. Add peas and serve with chips or crackers.
