BLACK-EYED CORNBREAD 
1 c. black-eyed peas (canned with jalapeno peppers)
3/4 c. canned cream corn
1 lb. sausage, cooked and crumbled
1/2 lb. grated cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil
3 or 4 slices bread, broken up

Mix all together and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
