BLACK-EYE PEA CORNBREAD 
1 lb. browned ground beef
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 beaten eggs
3/4 c. cream corn
1/4 c. oil
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. cooked black-eye peas
1 c. buttermilk

Mix all ingredients together and pour in casserole dish. Bake 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with grated cheese.
