WALDORF SALAD 
8 stalks celery
1 lb. pecan halves
1 1/2 to 2 c. Miracle Whip "lite"
4 lg. red Delicious apples

1. Clean and chop the celery, pull off and discard any loose strings, place in a large mixing bowl.

2. Break up all but 8 to 10 pecan halves into 1/4's or smaller, place all the broken pecans in the bowl with the celery, reserve the 8-10 pecans still in halves for decoration.

3. Mix in the 1 1/2 cups Miracle Whip "lite" with the celery and pecans.

4. Core and chop to bite-size pieces the apples, peeling is optional. After each 1/2 of an apple is chopped, fold those pieces into the Miracle Whip "lite". Doing this often as you chop helps prevent the apples from browning.

5. After all the apples are chopped and in the salad, you may add up to 1/2 cup more Miracle Whip "lite" if needed.

6. Mound the salad into a serving bowl and decorate with the 8-10 pecan halves you saved.
