MAXINES CREME DE MENTHE BALLS 
1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
3/4 c. pecans, finely chopped
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/3 c. white creme de menthe
Powdered sugar coating

Mix cookie crumbs, pecans and sugar in medium bowl. Add corn syrup and creme de menthe blending well with a fork to make a stiff dough. May take a little creme de menthe. Form into small balls, using about a rounded 1/2 teaspoon for each and rolling between hands. Roll in powdered sugar. Place in single layer on wax paper in shallow pan; cover loosely. Chill overnight. Store in airtight container.
