"MOM'S MOCHA BREAD" | |
1 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 2 c. light molasses 2 eggs 5 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. allspice 2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tbsp. nutmeg 2 c. strong coffee 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1 c. chocolate chips Cream shortening and sugar. Blend in molasses and eggs. Mix and sift flour, soda, salt and spices. Add alternately with coffee to molasses mixture. Stir in vanilla. Gold in marshmallows and chocolate chips. Pour into greased 13x9x2 inch pan (or two 8x8 inch pans). Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. |
