2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten

Mix together. 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in with first ingredients.

Have ready: 1 cube butter

Pour boiling water and melted butter over the above mixture and stir well. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees until done.
