PORK CHOPS ALA CRANBERRIES 
Thick pork chops (as many as needed)
1 tsp. shortening
3/4 c. orange juice
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce

Brown thick pork chops in shortening. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

In pan, blend orange juice, brown sugar and cranberry sauce. Heat slowly. Pour sauce over pork chops. Cover and simmer 50 minutes or until tender.
