1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. water

Cream above ingredients together.

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and stir until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Add nuts if you want. Bake at 350 degrees.
