STAR LAKE METHODIST CAMP BULGAR
BREAD
 
2 c. boiling water
2 c. bulgar grain
1/2 c. honey or brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt (optional)

Add 2 packages yeast and 1/2 cup warm water. Then add a total of 5 to 5 1/2 cups flour, one cup at a time. Knead for 10 minutes, adding flour. Place in a greased bowl. Let it rise until double and punch down. Form tow loaves and place in a greased pan. Let it rise in a warm place. bake at 400 degrees for thirty minutes.
