1/2 c. butter or Crisco
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs & 1 egg yolk
1/2 c. cocoa
2/3 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. Pepsi cola

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and 1 egg yolk. Beat well until light and creamy. Add sour milk. Sift together flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt. Add to mixture and beat well. Add Pepsi cola and mix thoroughly.

Pour into 2 greased and floured 8 or 9 inch pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Whipped cream may be used for icing.
