1 c. Coke or Pepsi
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Do Not Use Mixer! Mix Coke (or Pepsi), butter, cocoa and oil together in boiler; bring to a boil. After starts to boil, remove from heat and add marshmallows stirring until melted. Mix flour and sugar together in a bowl. Pour liquid mixture in bowl with flour and sugar; mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs (well beaten) and vanilla; mix well.

Pour into a 12 x 18 inch pan (greased and floured) and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool cake before icing.

ICING:

3 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. Coke or Pepsi
1 c. chopped nuts
