COCONUT SLICES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. coconut

Two Batches:
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. coconut

Four Batches:
6 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. shortening
4 c. sugar
4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 c. coconut

Mix, roll and freeze. Slice and bake at 370 degrees 6-8 minutes. SLICE THIN WHILE STILL FROZEN! Frozen dough can be kept for weeks and can be frozen after cooking if sealed tightly.

NOTE: Mixing by hand given best results!
