PEACH COBBLER | |
1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 5 c. sliced fresh peaches (I also use frozen) 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt 1 beaten egg Combine sugar and flour; add peaches and toss well. Arrange peach mixture in bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Dot with butter. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; stir well. Add egg and stir well. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over peaches. Drizzle 1/3 cup melted butter evenly over crumb mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Serves 8. |
