CHICKEN A LA KING CASSEROLE 
3 1/2 c. med. noodles
1 can cream of chicken soup
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. shredded American cheese
2 c. diced cooked chicken or turkey
1 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. each green pepper and pimento, diced
1/2 c. slivered, blanched almonds
Buttered bread crumbs

Cook noodles until tender. Mix soup, milk, and salt and heat. Add cheese; stir until melted. Add rest of ingredients except almonds and pour over noodles in casserole. Top with 1/2 cup almonds and buttered crumbs. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6.
