MICROWAVE SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking powder

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Stir together ingredients. Place glass 1 1/2 inch diameter or 8 inch round glass baking dish. Sprinkle 1/3 topping in bottom of baking glass. Spoon half batter over topping. Add another 1/3 of topping other half of batter, then 1/3 of topping. Cook in microwave uncovered 4 minutes 30 seconds on high or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Serve warm.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
