CRANBERRY PIE | |
2 c. fresh cranberries 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 2 eggs 1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter, melted 1/4 c. shortening, melted Grease 10-inch pie plate. Spread cranberries over bottom of plate; sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar, then nuts. Beat eggs well; add 1 cup sugar. Beat thoroughly. Add flour, butter and shortening. Beat well. Pour batter over cranberries. Bake at 325°F for 60 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream. |
