CABBAGE HASH 
4 c. shredded cabbage
1 tbsp. minced celery
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 med. onion
1/4 c. butter
4 med. peeled potatoes
2 c. diced roast beef or ham
Salt and pepper

Chop cabbage, celery, green pepper and onion. A food chopper can be used with a fine blade. Simmer in butter until slightly tender. Shred raw potatoes, add to first mixture and simmer until slightly browned.

Add meat and season with salt and pepper - keep over low heat 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking. Makes 4 servings.
