LEMON BARS 
1 egg plus 2 eggs
1/3 c. butter
1 pkg. lemon cake mix
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350°F.

Mix 1 egg, butter and cake mix (dry), reserving 1 cup. Put remaining mix into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes until light brown. Beat remaining ingredients until light and fluffy. Pour over hot crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mix. Bake another 15 minutes until light brown.

May be sprinkled with confectioners' sugar.

Makes 32 bars.
