SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
1 c. milk
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 med. onion, grated
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. beef stock

Heat milk, do not boil. In a separate bowl, combine beef, onions and spices; add flour slowly blending through. Gradually mix in milk and eggs. Beat 5 minutes, cover, refrigerate 1/2 hour. Roll beef into 1" balls, brown under broiler. Remove and set aside. Add flour to the beef drippings, stir until smooth. Gradually stir in beef stock and bring to a boil, season with salt and pepper (simmer 5 minutes).
