FRENCH SILK PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
8 oz. Cool Whip or whipped cream
1 sq. semi-sweetened baking chocolate to shred on top

CRUST:

Either graham cracker or;
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. nuts

CRUST: Blend ingredients together, press in pie pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

PIE: Beat sugar and butter together with electric mixer until smooth. Add unsweetened baking chocolate and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time (beat 5 minutes after each until like silk). Pour over cooled pie crust. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Refrigerate 2 hours. Shave semi-sweet chocolate shavings over top for garnish. Serves 12 to 16.

This recipe is good! Made a couple revisions on the crust. I used a shortbread pecan crust instead and it turned out even better! This recipe does not tell you what size pie pan to use! I used a 10 inch pan and it worked great!
