CLAM CAKES 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 can minced clams & juice

Beat eggs in bowl. Add clams and juice. Sift dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Add milk a little at a time until you get the consistency you want. Drop teaspoonfuls into deep heated Crisco. Cook until golden and turn over as necessary.
