PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco, butter flavor
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 times 3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix Crisco, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar and eggs thoroughly. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together and stir in. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of large walnut. Place 3 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in flour crisscross. Bake until set but not hard. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
