PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp.soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. quick Quaker oats

Beat shortening and sugar together until creamy, add eggs and peanut butter; beat well. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats. Shape dough to form 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Make criss-cross with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
