2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
3 pkgs. dried beef, found in the luncheon meat section of the grocery store
1 med. onion, finely chopped

Soften cream cheese in large bowl. Cut up beef into small pieces. Mix 3/4 of beef and all of the onion with cream cheese. Mix well using your hands; then roll mixture into a ball. Spread the remaining dried beef pieces onto waxed paper and roll cheese ball so that it is covered completely. Chill and serve with crackers.
