1 c. stale bread, torn into 1 inch pieces
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. cheese (can be odds and ends), cut in sm. pieces
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Black pepper to taste

Soak bread in milk. Melt butter and cheese in top of double boiler. Add bread and milk, eggs and seasonings. Cook until the thickness of scrambled eggs, stirring occasionally. A great way to use up stale bread and cheese.
